With interests in both residential and investment properties, I am a full-service agent based out of St. Paul’s Crocus Hill RE/MAX Results office. Don’t let the 55105 zip code fool you into thinking I don't know how to leave the city limits! I do have a car (usually full of hockey equipment) and have traveled throughout the metro and out-state Minnesota sharing my real estate insights with many satisfied clients and friends.
A long time ago - in a career far, far away – a grizzled radio veteran told me that “being a great communicator wasn’t about what I said….it was about what I heard”.
That really was a long time ago, but the message stuck.
As a REALTOR, it’s my job to keep my clients informed as they move from deciding to buy or - to the last swipe of the pen at the closing table. I can talk their ears off about comparable sales and the pieces of an inspection report that raise an eyebrow.
Any respectable agent can do that.
What I pride myself in – and what I believe makes me good at what I do – is my willingness to listen.
During my radio career, I made it a point to treat my guests with respect and hear their story rather than making the conversation about me.
I do the same with my real estate clients. I want to know as much as I can about you and your family, why you’re buying or selling, what you love about the home you’re in and what you want in a new home.
That being said, you’re going to hear from me to. You’ll never have to wait for a response or get an update that doesn’t go into too much detail. Overcommunicator? Guilty as charged! You’ll get phone calls, texts, and emails every step of the way. Buying or selling a home is the biggest transaction most of us will make in our lives and I believe you have a right to be kept in the loop every step of the way.
I’m also there to make the process move along as smoothly as possible. If a client needs a lender, I’ll give them a list to choose from. The same goes for inspectors, contractors, movers, and neighborhood connections.
And I’ll do it all with a smile on my face. I love taking my clients from the early stages of a move - to that moment at the closing table when keys are exchanged.
